Thefts from motor vehicles on the rise in Steinbach

Steinbach RCMP have observed a significant increase in the amount of thefts occurring from motor vehicles in the Steinbach area.

Stolen from vehicles include numerous electronic items, power tools and cash. Police note that in the majority of these thefts, the vehicles involved were left unlocked. As such, Steinbach RCMP are reminding the public to lock your vehicles and to remove any valuables.
