On November 11, 2009, at approximately 4am, Steinbach RCMP were informed of a break and enter to the Extra Foods on Main Street in Steinbach, where a large number of cigarettes were stolen.
Investigation revealed that suspects entered the grocery store by smashing a window. Once inside the business, the suspects busted open a cabinet which stored tobacco products. As a result, numerous packages of cigarettes were stolen.
Investigation led police to a residence on Main Street in Steinbach where cigarettes were located and seized from the break and enter. Three male youths were arrested and charged for break and enter and other related offences. Two of the males are currently in custody at the Manitoba Youth Center.
The investigation continues.
