Every year, Steinbach’s Parks & Recreation Department offers a number of summer rec camps.
This year, the two camps offered were Multisport/Game and Skate/BMX Craze.
Jason Peters, Recreation Programmer for the City, says the two camps went extremely well. “We had a great summer, with the highlights being the Ball Hockey day and the Skateboard BMX Craze camp. We had a really great group of kids, tremendous weather, and we were very fortunate once again to work with Kyle Friesen (Skatepark Director from Youth for Christ) who brings so much expertise and fun to our camp. We are already looking forward to next summer!”
About 24 kids participated in the rec camps this summer.
