The RCMP and partner agencies wish to remind the public that March is once again Fraud Awareness Month.

Ste. Rose RCMP are currently investigating the death of a 17-year-old woman on the Ebb and Flow First Nation.

On February 26, 2010, at about 10:20pm, RCMP members from Oakbank Detachment where on patrol when they came across a collision involving a car with 3 occupants.

The Steinbach RCMP are looking for assistance in connection with a break and enter at Joey’s Only restuarant in Steinbach.

Manitou and Crystal City RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in obtaining information regarding a break, enter and theft that occurred in the early morning hours on February 24, 2010.

The Steinbach RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating three individuals that may have information in connection with a theft that occurred this past November.

On February 24, 2010, at about 1:30pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP, Regional Health EMS and Portage la Prairie Fire Department responded to a fire in a residence on 6th Avenue North West in Portage la Prairie.

On February 23, 2010, at about 2:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP, Regional Health EMS and Long Plain First Nation Fire Department responded to a fire in a residence on Long Plain First Nation.

Shortly after RCMP encountered a suspicious vehicle south of Carman on Highway 3 with three adults from Winnipeg. 10 items of sports clothing with Carman Sports & Empower Fitness tags were located in the vehicle.

On Saturday February 20, 2010, Selkirk RCMP partnered with Natural Resources Officers from Manitoba Conservation and conducted checks of fishermen and ice fishing shacks on the Red River near Selkirk.
