After a lengthy police investigation into a robbery at the Sharptail Motor Inn in Ashern last month, RCMP have charged two employees of the Inn in connection with this incident.

On December 14, 2011, at about 1:30am, Ashern RCMP Detachment received a report of a robbery at the Sharptail Motor Inn in Ashern.

RCMP Ashern Detachment are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing youth, 15-year-old Carmel Beaulieu of Ashern, Manitoba.

RCMP are requesting public assistance in identifying two men involved in a theft incident this past February.

As a result of an investigation conducted by the RCMP Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, a 50-year-old male, from Moosehorn, Manitoba, was arrested for importing and possession of child pornography on September 17, 2009, in Ashern.
