Announcing his candidacy for City Councillor, Ryan Derksen believes a strong city like Steinbach would benefit from a balanced perspective to promote a sustainable environment for families, businesses and recreation.

Mitchell resident Susan Doerksen today announced that she will be running for the position of school trustee in the Mitchell/Blumenort/Landmark ward with the goal of increasing parental involvement in the school system and ensuring the voice of teachers and school staff are heard.

Saying that she hopes to bring increased communication and openness to the Hanover School Division Board, Sarah Dyck announced that she will be running in the election for Trustees on October 22 in the Steinbach ward.
