A number of roads remain washed out leaving cottage owners stranded with only boat access‎ until road repairs can be undertaken. Almost all cottagers have boat access to main boat launches and highway access.

Manitoba Sustainable Development advises a voluntary evacuation is underway in some areas of the Whiteshell following heavy rains as resulting high water has caused deteriorating road conditions.

Manitoba Health advises that, although widespread evacuations are not anticipated, high water levels and road closures could isolate some Manitobans during flooding, limiting access to health-care services or making it more difficult for emergency responders including paramedics to reach people in a medical emergency.
