Steinbach RCMP report that the human remains located in the RM of Ste. Anne last week, have been identified as belonging to a male.

On May 13, 2010, at about 4:45pm, Steinbach RCMP were informed that a person had located what they believed to be a human skull on his yard.

Human remains have positively identified, from dental records, as those of Bernard Carlo Hart who was reported missing earlier this month.

On July 8, 2009, at 11:45 a.m., Thompson RCMP were contacted by members of a civilian search team that skeletal remains had been found in a wooded area just off a hydro power line, east of Thompson.
