The reliability and security of the province’s electricity supply got a boost recently with the completion of Manitoba Hydro’s new Riel Terminal Station just east of Winnipeg.

A five-year high in export electricity sales revenue helped Manitoba Hydro to nearly double its net income in 2013-14 compared to the previous year.
