Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship, the Office of the Fire Commissioner (OFC), the Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization and rural municipalities continue to respond to wildfires in southeastern Manitoba.

On May 10, 2012, Steinbach RCMP along with the Steinbach EMS and the La Broquerie Fire Department, responded to a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Highway 210 between La Broquerie and Marchand.

On July 5, 2010 at about 6:45pm, Steinbach RCMP were informed that a male in his 40’s had threatened several people, assaulted a person and was waving a knife in a threatening manner.

On December 3, 2009 at approximately 6:30pm, the Steinbach RCMP detachment responded to a report of pickup truck colliding with a train on Twin Rivers Road in Marchand, Manitoba.

On June 11, 2009 at about 10:30 a.m., Steinbach RCMP executed a drug search warrant at a residence near Marchand, Manitoba in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie.
