On March 31, 2010, at about 10:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP member was patrolling the Trans Canada Highway in the RM of North Norfolk when the member stopped a 1994 Ford Explorer SUV with Manitoba plates traveling westbound for a traffic violation.
On March 11, 2010, at about 9am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a call of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 1, 2 kilometres west of Bagot in the RM of North Norfolk.
On October 8, 2009, at approximately 10:15pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP and EMS responded to the scene of a farming accident in the RM of North Norfolk.
The Portage la Prairie RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a theft crime which occurred earlier this year.
On June 6, 2009 around 6:30 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a collision between a car and a five car passenger train on highway 242, about five miles north of highway 1.
