Central Plains RCMP are requesting public assistance in connection with a recent rash of break and enters to vehicles in Portage.

Central Plains RCMP are looking for information in connection with an armed robbery that took place last week in Portage la Prairie.

Just before 2am on August 10, 2011, Central Plains RCMP responded a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on the 500 block of 6th Street NE in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

At approximately 1:30am on July 30, 2011, Central Plains RCMP seized a quantity of marijuana while investigating a Highway Traffic Act offence.

Just before 9pm on July 26, 2011, while investigating a Highway Traffic Act offence, Central Plains RCMP seized a quantity of marijuana.

On July 19, 2011, just before 1:30am, Central Plains RCMP received a report of an armed robbery on Lorne Avenue East in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

On July 14, 2011, just after 2:15am, Central Plains RCMP, as well as Portage la Prairie Emergency Services and MacGregor EMS, responded to a 2 vehicle and farm tractor collision on Highway 1, west of Portage la Prairie on the diversion bridge.

In conjunction with Manitoba Public Insurance, Central Plains RCMP were out this past weekend conducting a traffic enforcement initiative.

19-year-old Paul Desjarlais has been arrested on an outstanding warrant after trying to flee police yesterday in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

At approximately 6am on June 25, 2011, while investigating a report of a disturbance, Portage la Prairie RCMP seized a quantity of cocaine.
