On February 18, 2009 around 7:30 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a call of a downed hydro wire in the back lane south of Saskatchewan Ave W.

On February 14, 2009 around 2:30 AM Portage la Prairie RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle in the RM north of Portage la Prairie.

On February 13, 2009 around 10:30 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP were notified of a residential fire in the 100 block of 8th St NW. Portage la Prairie.

On February 12, 2009 around 4:30 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person driving a black pick up truck.

On February 12, 2009 around 10:30 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP received a complaint of an attempted robbery which occurred outside the Centennial Arena.

On February 9, 2009 around 3:00 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP, Portage Fire Department and Paramedics responded to a call of a collapsed structure on Mayfair Farms in Portage la Prairie.

On February 7, 2009 around 2:00 AM while on patrol, Portage la Prairie RCMP were flagged down by a man who had been assaulted.

On February 8th, 2009 at approximately 08:45 AM, members of the Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a semi-truck on the #1 highway near highway #13 intersection.
