The Government of Manitoba is asking consumers for their ideas on how to ensure they are treated openly and fairly by real estate agents when they buy or sell a house or condo.

Manitobans now have faster, more convenient access to the information they need to buy or sell a home or property with access to land title documents through Documents Online, a new Property Registry service.

Family Services and Consumer Affairs Minister Gord Mackintosh introduced legislation that would amend the Real Property Act to provide Manitobans with better protection from fraudulent real estate transactions.
