Powerview RCMP are investigating a complaint of break, enter and assault which was reported to have occurred earlier this month on Sagkeeng First Nation.

Powerview RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in location a missing male youth, 16-year-old Ethan Powderhorn.

On April 8, 2012, just after 8pm, Powerview RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to a report of a fire at the Anicinabe School on Sagkeeng FN.

A 9-year-old boy has been shot and killed at his family residence yesterday evening at a residence on Sagkeeng FN.

RCMP have identified a suspicious death victim after the discovery of an adult male body earlier this week on the Sagkeeng FN.

On October 31, 2011, at approximately 9:15am, Powerview RCMP as well as local Emergency Services were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive male at a residence on the Sagkeeng FN.

RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating 14-year-old Tyler Arkinson who has been missing since March of this year.

On April 30, 2010, at about 10pm, RCMP Powerview Detachment along with the Pine Falls and Sagkeeng FN Fire Department, were dispatched to a house fire on the south shore of Sagkeeng FN.

On March 24, 2010, despite some sudden inclement weather, a formal search for Tyler Arkinson was completed in the high probability area of where he was last seen on Sagkeeng FN on Sunday Morning, March 21, 2010.

On Monday, March 22, 2010, at 4:25pm, RCMP Powerview Detachment were notified by the immediate family that 14-year-old Tyler Arkinson could not be located.
