Vic Toews, MP for Provencher, has announced federal funding for the Sprague and Area Community Arena under the Harper Government’s Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund (CIIF).

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that 67-year-old Dorion Larry Ozykowski has received a three year prison sentence following a smuggling incident at the port of Sprague in December 2011.

On August 18, 2011, at 4:30pm, Sprague RCMP received a call in regards to a missing teenage girl.

On June 23, 2011, at 10:30pm, Sprague RCMP received a report of a missing teenage girl.

On July 16, 2011, shortly after 12:30am, Sprague RCMP with the assistance of Steinbach RCMP, Steinbach Traffic Services and local Emergency Services responded to a single motor vehicle rollover collision on Highway 12 just south of the Highway 89 intersection.

The Governments of Canada and Manitoba today announced $10.1 million in joint funding for new affordable housing projects.
