Changes coming to Manitoba student financial aid

Manitoba will become the first province in Western Canada to eliminate provincial interest on all Manitoba student loans and will enhance loan accessibility for students.

Student loan interest rate reduced to prime

Changes under the Student Aid Act have reduced the interest rate on Manitoba student loans from prime plus 1.5 per cent to prime.
