On November 14, 2009 at around 9:30pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a theft of gas from the Canada Safeway Gas Bar located on Manitoba Avenue at Main Street in the City of Selkirk.

On July 19, 2009 between 4:30pm and 5:30pm, persons unknown stole a blue duffel bag from a vehicle parked in Quarry Park in Stonewall.
