Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship advises soil temperatures have not yet reached the freezing point, so the winter nutrient application ban has been delayed until Nov. 12.
The province has released a stronger green plan based on feedback and developing opportunities including the launch of a new $1-million annual fund designed to triple the amount of organics that Manitoba diverts from landfills by 2020.
