Spring Rolls

Ingredients

2 lb
ground pork or beef
1/2 c
green onions
1 c
carrots, chopped
1 c
onions, chopped
2
eggs
2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
ground black pepper
35-50
spring roll wrapped (quantity depends on size of wrapper used)
3 - 6 c
cooking oil

Directions

  1. in a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients with the pork, starting with the onion and carrots, green onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder and eggs. Mix well.
  2. Wrap about 1 to 1 1/2 tsp of the mixture in a spring roll wrapper. do this until all the mixture is used.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a deep fryer (350F). Deep fry the spring rolls for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Remove from the deep fryer and let the oil drip or soak in a paper towel.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
