Waffles and Vanilla Sauce

Part 1 - Waffles

eggs
375 ml
milk
125 ml
oil
500 ml
flour
15 ml
baking powder
2 ml
salt
2 tbsp
sugar

Plug in waffle maker and heat up. In a large bowl add eggs, milk, oil. Beat until foamy. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining dry ingredients together. Mix dry ingredients with wet and bake in waffle maker.

Part 2 - Vanilla Sauce

250 ml
milk, divided
75 ml
sugar
20 ml
cornstarch
15 ml
butter
5 ml
vanilla extract

Combine 175 ml milk and sugar in a medium saucepan. Over medium heat cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. In a bowl blend cornstarch with remaining milk until smooth. Stir into the hot mixture. Cook until sauce is thickened. Stir in butter and vanilla.

Directions

Cover the waffles with the sauce to taste…enjoy!
