On April 2, 2014, shortly after 11pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to an armed robbery in progress at a local business in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
Suspects wanted by RCMP in connection to an armed robbery at a local Portage la Prairie business.
Officers arrived on scene in less than a minute to find the suspects had fled. Police say that the lone employee was unharmed and an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes were stolen.
Investigation shows that two suspects were involved – one was possibly female. Both suspects were dressed in dark colours, one had a small build, appeared to be approximately 16-years-old with brown hair and was wearing a black sweatshirt with dark pants and a green backpack. The other suspect had a heavy build, appeared to be approximately 20-years-old and was wearing a blue hoodie and dark pants.
