On February 26, 2015 at approximately 11:32am, Cranberry Portage RCMP responded to a report of an armed man at a local residence.
Police say that as a precaution, Frontier Collegiate Institute and Cranberry Portage Elementary were locked down for approximately one hour.
RCMP report that the man was arrested without incident. Assisting in this situation was both The Pas and Flin Flon RCMP.
