Last week Barkman Concrete opened its new 43,000 square foot multi-million dollar plant by hosting a series of open houses for employees and the community. There is a great deal for this family owned company to be proud of as it has become a leader in concrete products in Canada.
Barkman President Alan Barkman along with his father Peter Barkman were on hand to not only reflect on where Barkman’s has come from as a company but also the bright future that is ahead. That is particularly good news for the growing number of local residents who are employed at the company and for the region itself. More than providing jobs and opportunity, Barkman Concrete is a strong corporate citizen that believes in giving back to our region and province.
