I was honoured to present an award to Steinbach resident Hank Klassen on Tuesday evening as a token of thanks for the many years of volunteer service he has given our region. Hank is well known as a Steinbach Lions Club member and also as a driving force behind the Steinbach food bank, Helping Hands.
Because of Hank’s dedication thousands of area residents who have needed a hand up have been able to receive it at the food bank and through other activities he has been involved with. On behalf of our region and the many people you have helped over the years, thank you Hank for your dedication and your compassion.
