Canadians across the country will celebrate the country’s 144th birthday on Friday, July 1st.

Late last week I was very glad to see legislation that I first introduced three years ago in the Manitoba Legislature receive unanimous support from all three political parties and become law in the province.

Steinbach welcomed participants in the Manitoba Lotteries 55 Plus Games this week as they took part in events that were held throughout the City.

On Tuesday of this week the Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party, Hugh McFadyen, introduced legislation in the Manitoba Legislature that would eliminate the vote tax subsidy that the NDP brought into the province in 2007 after the last election.
