The Opportunity:
Clearview Co-op is hiring a Full Time Meat Cutter to serve our members and customers at our Food Store located in Ste. Anne.

As part of our team, you’ll represent our brand “You’re at Home Here”, by delivering friendly, positive, and professional experience to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Live out our values of: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
- Respond to customer needs and service satisfaction levels and ensure customer issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Package, wrap, display, and price meat products.
- Order, receipt, inspection, storage, and preparation of meats and/or fish and seafood and supplies.
- Fill and rotate frozen and processed stock following FIFO procedures as well as filling all necessary charts and logs.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, and clean, including sharpening equipment and monitoring refrigeration temperature within all food safety standards and guidelines.
- May provide operational oversight in absence of the Meat Manager.
- Frequently move items up to 55 lbs. at the site for various needs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
About you:
- You can work in cold temperatures.
- You have a passion of providing exceptional customer service.
- You have great organization and time management skills.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
- You exhibit good safety awareness and judgment.
- You have a minimum of 1 year experience in retail and/or customer service.
- You have or are willing to obtain training/certification relating to health and safety, safe food handling, and WHMIS.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts – days, evenings, and weekends (this could include shifts as early as 6:00 am and as late as 11:00 pm)
