Municipal Facilities Operations

Duties:

We are seeking a professional individual to maintain facilities within the RM of Hanover. The Municipal Facilities Operations position provides a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to maintain and to build into our infrastructure.

This job requires you to have hands on knowledge – a jack-of-all-trades. The position is based on 40 hours/week. Duties will include assessing damage of equipment, taking care of day-to-day maintenance within our facilities, and supporting the Facilities Coordinator in his role.

This position will be posted until a suitable candidate is found.

Qualifications:

• Experience in various trades or building;
• Knowledge and experience with building maintenance and construction including workplace safety and accessibility regulations;
• Knowledge and experience of vehicle maintenance;
• Access to personal transportation;
• Ability to supervise as required;
• Ability meet deadlines and to work independently;

Compensation:

This position is full time permanent and is paid $28.68 to $33.74 per hour plus a competitive benefits package.
