Community Safety Officer
We are seeking a full time professional, outgoing individual as our new dynamic municipal Community Safety Officer (CSO). The successful candidate will work as a team and report to the Manager of Protective Services. This role is responsible for enforcing municipal bylaws and select provincial statutes, patrolling the community, and promoting public safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include enforcing RM bylaws and select provincial statutes like The Highway Traffic Act. The role also involves community patrols, investigating complaints, issuing warnings and tickets, preparing court reports, and providing testimony. Community engagement to promote public safety and collaboration with enforcement partners such as the RCMP are also important.

The Rural Municipality of Hanover will provide a competitive compensation package, complete with benefits, to the successful applicant according to municipal salary grid and based on qualifications and experience. The job has a wage range of $33.56 to 39.48 per hour.
