Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a theft from a local business where a number of tools and accessories had been stolen. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between April 8, 2023, and the morning of April 12, 2023.

On April 12, 2023, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a break, enter and theft incident that occurred at a business located on Tower Avenue in Steinbach.

The property owner advised police that an unknown suspect broke into his business’s door by damaging the locks. The suspect then went on to steal various tools, including a Makita reciprocating saw, rotary hammer and 18v battery. Also stolen was a Paslode framing nailer kit and sheathing stapler, along with various saw blades and drill bits.

Police say that the estimated value of the stolen tools is approximately $2,500.
