Steinbach RCMP are advising the public that commencing June 1, 2017, Criminal Record Checks will only be completed from 8am to 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
A criminal record file consists of an individual’s criminal charges, convictions and discharges, as well as fingerprint information. It includes fingerprints if the individual was charged or convicted. The Criminal Record Check process verifies whether an individual has a criminal record and provides the applicant with the detailed information that can be legally disclosed.
RCMP note that the Commissionaires will still be available to complete fingerprint requests on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 4pm.
