The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce Board and staff have announced that the 55th Annual Pioneer Days Parade will take place on Friday, August 4, 2023, starting at approximately 10am.

Steinbach is known far-and-wide for its Annual Pioneer Days Parade that kicks off the Pioneer Days weekend of festivities in Steinbach, celebrating the community’s roots and rich heritage. With an average of 120 unique entries per year and the always-popular candy and other free giveaways, thousands of people attend the parade each year.

“The Pioneer Days Parade is always a highlight for our community,” said Gwen Reimer, Executive Director for the Steinbach Chamber. “Over 55 years, our Parade has established itself as a foundational event that brings excitement to Steinbach and surrounding area, and we could not achieve this enthusiasm without the partnership of an exceptional variety of community business partners.”

Starting at the Fire Hall at 10am, the parade will proceed west down Main Street, then north on Highway 12, ending at Stone Bridge Crossing.

In the interest of public safety, the Steinbach Chamber together with Steinbach RCMP, Steinbach Fire Department and the City of Steinbach reminds all spectators that failure to stay behind the marked barricade tape could result in serious injury. Parents and guardians are urged to ensure their children do not run into the street to grab candy or prizes.
