A 29-year-old father, along with his one-year-old son, have died as the result of a vehicle collision that occurred at a location on Highway 6 in the Rural Municipality of Woodlands.

Stonewall RCMP recently responded to a two-vehicle collision in the RM of Woodlands.

Police investigation determined that a vehicle, traveling south on Highway 6, went into the oncoming lane and collided with a northbound semi-truck.

RCMP report that the driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old male, along with his one-year-old son, were both pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi, a 74-year-old male, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Icy conditions are believed to be a factor in this collision.
