Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a 17-year-old male youth from the community has been arrested and charged after police received a tip regarding a stolen vehicle.
On January 27, 2024, at approximately 7:35pm, Steinbach RCMP were alerted that a stolen vehicle was seen on Rockwood Street in Steinbach. RCMP attended the area and located the vehicle.
Police say that a 17-year-old male youth from Steinbach was arrested and remanded into custody.
RCMP report that the youth is pending charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with a condition of a release order and failing to comply with a probation order.
