The City of Steinbach has announced a community mural project which is part of the Canada 150 Mosaic Project, funded in part by the Government of Canada.
Steinbach is one of the 150 communities from across the country that is taking part in the Canada 150 Mosaic Project, celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017.
Community Painting Workshops will be held throughout the day and evening on November 2nd and 3rd at the Steinbach Legion, located at 294 Lumber Avenue. Community members are invited to paint images on approximately 600 ceramic tiles that will be joined together to create Steinbach’s mural. Once complete, the mural will be displayed at the Jake Epp Library.
The City notes that all supplies and materials will be provided – all that is required is your creativity. Residents can register online at www.steinbach.ca.
