Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a number of suspects involved in a recent break and enter incident that occurred at a local building centre located on Park Road West in Steinbach.
On November 16, 2025 at approximately 2:51am, Steinbach RCMP responded to a security alarm at E.G. Penner Building Centres. Upon arrival at the scene, officers checked the perimeter of the building noting that everything appeared secure.
RCMP report that at approximately 3:30am, members were called back to the same location as it was confirmed that entry had been gained into the building.
Police say that a number of suspects were observed on video camera walking around the building going to different locations within the building. Once inside the building, the individuals were observed wearing what appears to be the store’s clothing. Officers noted that the suspects were able to leave the scene with a limited, but unknown amount of product.
