Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a male suspect has been arrested and charged in connection to numerous break-in and theft incidents that occurred in Steinbach during the month of January, 2026.
On January 28, between 5:30am and 5pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to six complaints of commercial break-ins and thefts of vehicles on Main Street, Reimer Avenue and Stone Bridge Crossing in Steinbach.
Police investigation determined that the same male suspect was observed either attempting to break-in or made entry to several businesses where he stole several computers, keys, and some food. At approximately 12pm on the same day, the suspect attempted to steal a vehicle on Stone Bridge Crossing but was caught and ran away. Later that day, he stole a vehicle in the parking lot of a business located in the 300 block of Main Street.
RCMP report that the suspect, Garrison Lohr-Mansbridge, 28, from Great Falls, was arrested that same night and at the time, was in possession of some of the stolen keys and a stolen vehicle. Lohr-Mansbridge will be facing numerous theft related charges, including possession of property obtained by crime, use of credit card obtained by crime, possession of breaking instruments, break and enter and theft of a motor vehicle.
Officers noted that charges are in connection to multiple incidents including a motor vehicle theft on Rosewood Drive that occurred January 1, and crimes committed on January 28, including a break-in, and theft of a motor vehicle that occurred on Stone Bridge Crossing and Main Street.
