Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of a missing man from the community, 25-year-old Cyrus Jones.
On July 14, 2026, at 5am, Steinbach RCMP received a report stating that Cyrus Jones had gone missing. Cyrus was last heard from in the early morning of July 14 and was believed to be in a field east of Blumenort.
Police say that extensive patrols of the area, using a drone to assist, have been unsuccessful thus far at locating the missing man.
Cyrus Jones is described as being 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, and having short blond hair, facial hair and a birth mark (dot) under his right eye. He may be wearing a grey hoodie or black t-shirt, black pants, as well as black and white Nike shoes.
RCMP noted that Jones may be travelling on a dirt bike.
