Selkirk RCMP are asking the public to help locate a missing man from the RM of St. Clements, 66-year-old Vernon Karl Otto.

Police say that on May 30, 2018, at 12:40pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a missing 66-year-old male from the RM of St. Clements. Vernon Karl Otto was last seen on May 29 at 1pm working in his field near his residence located near Stead, MB.

Otto is described as Caucasian, 6’2″ tall, weighs 200 pounds, has blue eyes and gray balding hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a gold watch and black casual shoes.

Update

Selkirk RCMP and RCMP Major Crime Services have located Otto's burnt pickup truck a short distance from his residence. Vernon Karl Otto remains missing.
