4-H Canada has announced the 2018 recipients of the John Deere Canada 4-H Scholarships. Fifteen 4-H members from across Canada, including two from Manitoba, were selected to receive $1,000 each towards their post-secondary education in the fall of 2018, thanks to the generous support of John Deere Canada.

“We are grateful for generous partners, like John Deere, that recognize the importance of investing in positive youth development,” said Shannon Benner, 4-H Canada CEO. “Opportunities such as this scholarship greatly support 4-H Canada’s mission to nurture responsible, caring and contributing youth leaders who are making an impact in their communities and around the world.”

4-H Canada and John Deere are committed to providing youth with tools and guidance to lay the foundation for a life-long love of learning. Our ongoing partnership continues to focus on the 4-H spirit of leadership, responsibility, and a deep sense of community.

“John Deere Canada would like to congratulate the 15 youth from all over Canada selected this year to receive scholarships towards their 2018 post-secondary education,” said Charlene Petrie, Marketing Promotions Advisor, John Deere Canada ULC. “We are always excited about investing in Canada’s youth and supporting the next generation of community and business leaders.
