The City of Steinbach has announced that the splash park beside the Jake Epp Library is now closed for the 2019 season.
The City says that fall has arrived and it’s time to turn of the sprinklers, water cannons, and geysers. The water park has been a popular spot for residents to cool off over the hot summer months.
City staff will now be removing the facilities water meter and prepare the features for winter using air pressure to remove water in the lines and parts.
The City notes that the park will open again June, 2020, weather permitting.
