A 31-year-old Minnedosa woman has been arrested and charged in connection to a recent drug trafficking investigation.

On June 10, 2020, at approximately 1pm, Spruce Plains RCMP, along with the assistance of Manitoba West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the Town of Minnedosa. The search of the residence resulted in a substantial seizure of crystal methamphetamine (730 grams), cocaine (73 grams), numerous prescription pills, and over $5,500 in cash.

Police say that the total street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be $126,000.

RCMP report that a 31-year-old woman, from Minnedosa, was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. She was released before a Justice and is set to appear in court on August 11, 2020.
