Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a recent incident involving the assault of a woman outside the bar located in La Broquerie, Manitoba.
On January 27, 2021, sometime between the hours 7:30am and 8:20am, a young woman was assaulted outside the La Broquerie Bar.
Police say that they received a report that the female victim had been out for a walk when a grey Toyota Camry pulled up beside her. The passenger of the car then got out of the vehicle and hit the young woman in the head with a beer bottle. The suspect then returned to the vehicle and drove off.
The suspect is described as wearing a black jacket, black toque and grey hiking boots. The driver of the vehicle is described as an older male with a grey bread and moustache.
