Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating two break-ins that occurred at a business located on Highway 1 East in Richer, Manitoba. Members are now asking the public for help in identifying the individual involved.
On July 26, 2025, at 4:24am, a male suspect was seen entering a local business in Richer. The suspect then proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.
Police say that the suspect was wearing a black balaclava, gloves, dark jacket, red buttoned shirt, dark pants and a hat. He was also carrying a yellow crowbar and was seen leaving in a blue van.
On August 18, 2025, at 3:50am, a suspect was seen breaking into the same business wearing similar shoes, a black balaclava and carrying a yellow crowbar. The suspect once again stole an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.
RCMP believe that the same person broke into this business in both incidents.
