The City of Steinbach would like to inform the public that on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, starting at 9am, there will be a temporary street and sidewalk closure on a portion of First Street, west of Lumber Avenue.
Officials say that the closure is needed to complete necessary tree removal in the area. The road and sidewalk are scheduled to reopen by 4:30pm on the same day.
The City thanks all drivers and residents for exercising caution and following signage when travelling in the area, and for their patience as work on the Loewen/PTH 12 Intersection renewal project continues.
