The 2026 residential garbage and recycling collection schedules for the City of Steinbach are now in the mail and should be available to local residents in the coming weeks.
City officials say that there are no adjustments to collection days, so residents can expect service to continue as usual into 2026.
As in past years, residents can find their collection day by finding their location on the colour-coded city map that corresponds to their pick-up day on the calendar. The map also shows where the landfill and the three community compost depots are located.
The City notes that if your mailbox is listed to not receive flyers, you will not receive a schedule.
Copies will be available to view and print online, as well, they can be picked up at Steinbach’s City Hall, Landfill, Operations building, or Aquatic Centre. They will also be available at the Customer Service desk of Superstore and Sobeys in Steinbach.
