Beausejour RCMP are reporting that a recent collision involving an ATV and gravel truck has claimed the life of a Brokenhead teen.
On June 25, 2026, at 5:20pm, Beausejour RCMP responded to a collision involving an ATV and gravel truck on Provincial Road 302, near Road 71 North, in the RM of Brokenhead.
Emergency Medical Services were already on scene when Police arrived and advised that the male driver of the ATV, a 19-year-old male from the RM of Brokenhead, had been pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the gravel truck, a 60-year-old male from Steinbach, was not injured.
Police investigation determined that the ATV had been traveling east on Road 71 North, when it was hit by a gravel truck traveling north on Provincial Road 302.
Beausejour RCMP, with the assistance of Manitoba RCMP Traffic Services, continue to investigate this incident.
