The City of Steinbach is reminding residents of road closures and traffic management updates that are scheduled for Friday, July 31 during the annual Pioneer Days Parade.

Road closures are scheduled from 9am-12pm, and are as follows:

  • Westbound Main Street between Brandt Street and McKenzie Avenue, northbound PTH 12 North between Main Street and Millwork Drive, and southbound Hespeler Street North between Ashford Lane and Main Street will be closed.
  • Westbound lanes on Loewen Boulevard between PTH 12 North and Hanover Street will be closed.
  • Life Sciences Parkway and Tower Avenue will allow for local access only.
  • There will be no left turns on eastbound PTH 52 West at Brandt Street, on eastbound Loewen Boulevard at PTH 12 North, and on eastbound McKenzie Avenue at Main Street.
  • There will be no right turn on westbound Main Street at Hespeler Street North. Eastbound lanes on Main Street will remain open.

City officials ask that everyone obeys all posted signage and exercise caution when traveling through the marked areas.
