Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a Steinbach man has recently died as the result of a single vehicle collision that occurred in the Rural Municipality (RM) of Hanover.
On September 12, 2026, at 11:39pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Road 21 North in the RM of Hanover. Police arrived at the scene and located a male laying on the road, behind the vehicle.
Officers noted that the vehicle had been severely damaged, consistent with being involved in a rollover.
RCMP report that a 40-year-old male from Steinbach, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Steinbach RCMP continue to investigate this incident.
