Hanover Municipality asks residents to report washouts and flood threats

The Rural Municipality of Hanover is asking local residents to report any unbarricaded road washouts and any houses being threatened by flooding. Reports on flooded streets, farmland and drainage ditches running full are not considered emergencies.

CIB commits $140 million to new water and wastewater infrastructure in Manitoba

The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is loaning a combined up to $140 million to support five communities with water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Manitoba. The provincial portion of this investment is over $71 million.

Government funding allocated for new regional wastewater treatment facility in southeastern Manitoba

Joint funding from federal and provincial governments, totaling more than $39 million, has been allocated for the construction of a regional mechanical wastewater treatment facility and collection network to service Niverville and the RMs of Ritchot, Hanover, and Tache.

Hanover woman charged in connection to assault incident in Grand Marais

A 20-year-old woman from the Rural Municipality of Hanover is facing charges in connection to a serious assault incident that occurred in Grand Marais, Manitoba. The woman was one of a group of seven that were arrested and charged.
